Sponsors and Vendors

Plans are already underway for the 2009 edition of the Mississippians for EMS conference. MEMS is pleased to partner with Pearl River Resort and Casino again as our host facility! We are still in the process of finalizing our agenda for 2009, but we expect to follow a very similar format to 2008. MEMS is well aware of the challenges that the current economy presents for everyone and we have done our best to ensure that costs for participants and our business partners are kept in check and represent a good value for all parties. To that end, our vendor pricing structure will remain constant again this year.

The Conference Facility

The ballroom consists or nearly 20,000 square feet of space that will be divided into the vendor/exhibitors area and classroom space. Ingress to and egress from the classroom setting will be through the vendor / exhibitors area.  Basic amenities for all levels of sponsorship include the following:

• Ingress to and egress from classroom is through the exhibit area
• Eight-foot display tables with drape and tablecloth
• Free wireless internet in the exhibit area
• AC power for sponsor level participants
• Two tickets to all seminar functions and meals

Pearl River Resort will not handle any shipping or receiving requests. If you need to ship something, please ship it to yourself as a guest of the Silver Star hotel and ensure that the package arrives no more than one day prior to your arrival.

Call Pearl River Resort at 1-866-44-PEARL (73275) for your room reservations. You must mention the group code GMEMS09 at the time you make your reservation. Because of the early start on Sunday, a block of rooms has been reserved beginning Saturday night, October 10, 2009. Room rates are $139 for 10/10/2009 and $79 per night for 10/11 through 10/12, 2009.

If you are a paid sponsor or vendor and have a vehicle or trailer that you desire to display, please let us know of the dimensions so that we can block off appropriate space in the parking lot adjacent to the convention center.
